About Valif 20 mg
Valif 20 mg is a vardenafil product from Ajanta Pharma, a manufacturer known for its range of men’s health medicines. It contains 20 mg of vardenafil, the maximum labeled dose, and is used before sex to treat erectile dysfunction. Ajanta also makes an oral jelly version, Valif Oral Jelly 20 mg, for men who prefer not to swallow tablets.
How vardenafil helps
Vardenafil blocks PDE5, allowing the relaxing signal in penile blood vessels to persist during arousal. More blood can flow in, making it easier to achieve and keep an erection. It does not work without sexual stimulation and does not affect fertility or libido.
How to take Valif 20 mg
- Take one dose around 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity.
- Its effect usually lasts up to five hours.
- A light meal is best; heavy, fatty food can delay the effect.
- Never use more than one dose in 24 hours.
Because 20 mg is the highest labeled dose, men new to vardenafil are usually started on 10 mg, such as Vilitra 10 mg.

Side effects
Headache, flushing, stuffy nose, indigestion and dizziness are the most frequent. Seek urgent medical help for an erection lasting over four hours, chest pain, an irregular heartbeat, or sudden vision or hearing loss.
Who should not take it
- Men taking nitrates, poppers or riociguat.
- Men with severe heart disease, uncontrolled blood pressure, or a recent heart attack or stroke.
- Men with a congenital long QT syndrome or taking certain anti-arrhythmic medicines.
- Men with severe liver impairment or end-stage kidney disease on dialysis.
Ritonavir, indinavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole and erythromycin increase vardenafil levels and may require a lower dose or a different medicine.
Getting the best results
Keep timing simple: take Valif roughly 30–60 minutes ahead, stay moderate with alcohol, and give it several tries. A doctor can review the dose if needed.
