About Vilitra 10 mg
Vilitra 10 mg contains 10 mg of vardenafil and is made by Centurion Laboratories. 10 mg is the recommended starting dose of vardenafil for erectile dysfunction, so Vilitra 10 is the natural first step for men trying this medicine, the same active ingredient found in Levitra.
What it is used for
Vilitra treats erectile dysfunction by improving blood flow to the penis during sexual arousal. As a PDE5 inhibitor, vardenafil prevents the rapid breakdown of the chemical signal that keeps penile blood vessels relaxed. Stimulation is needed; it will not cause an erection on its own.
How to take it
- Swallow one tablet with a drink of water, 25 to 60 minutes before sex.
- The effect usually lasts four to five hours.
- Food has only a modest effect, though a very fatty meal may delay it.
- Take a maximum of one tablet per day.
Depending on your response, a doctor may increase the dose to 20 mg, available as Vilitra 20 mg, or reduce it to 5 mg. Men over 65, and those with liver problems, often start lower.

Side effects

Cautions
Do not take vardenafil with nitrates, poppers or riociguat. Tell your doctor if you have heart disease, a heart rhythm problem (including a long QT interval), low blood pressure, kidney disease or retinitis pigmentosa. Medicines such as ritonavir, erythromycin, ketoconazole and alpha-blockers can interact.
Getting the best results
- Take it at a consistent time before sex so you learn your personal timing.
- Try it on at least four to six occasions before deciding whether to change dose.
- Stress, tiredness and heavy drinking all reduce the response.
