About Vilitra 20 mg
Vilitra 20 mg is a generic vardenafil tablet from Centurion Laboratories. Vardenafil is the active ingredient in Levitra and belongs to the same PDE5 inhibitor family as sildenafil and tadalafil. 20 mg is the maximum labeled dose, used by men who have tried vardenafil at 10 mg and need a stronger effect.
How vardenafil compares
Vardenafil acts over a similar timeframe to sildenafil, roughly four to five hours, but is a more potent inhibitor, so it is used at smaller milligram doses. Some men who do not respond well to one PDE5 inhibitor find another suits them better.
How to take Vilitra 20 mg
- Take one tablet with water 25 to 60 minutes before sexual activity.
- It can be taken with or without food, although a high-fat meal may slow it slightly.
- One tablet per day is the limit.
Men new to vardenafil are normally started at 10 mg, available as Vilitra 10 mg. Older men, and those with liver problems or taking certain medicines, may be advised to begin even lower.

Side effects
Headache, flushing, nasal congestion, indigestion and dizziness are the most commonly reported. Stop and seek help immediately for an erection lasting over four hours, chest pain, fainting, a fast or irregular heartbeat, or sudden changes in vision or hearing.
Important cautions
- Never combine with nitrates, poppers or riociguat.
- Vardenafil can slightly lengthen the QT interval on an ECG. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm condition or take medicines for arrhythmia.
- Strong enzyme inhibitors such as ritonavir, ketoconazole, itraconazole and clarithromycin increase vardenafil levels and may rule out the 20 mg dose.
- Take extra care with alpha-blockers and other blood pressure medicines.
Getting the best results
Take the tablet about half an hour to an hour ahead, avoid heavy drinking, and use it on several occasions before deciding how well it works for you.
Storage
Leave the tablets in their blister until needed, in a dry place under 86°F (30°C) that children cannot reach.
