Description

Same active ingredient (tadalafil) as Cialis®, the US brand. Tadarise Pro 20 mg is an Indian brand, made and licensed in India.

About Tadarise Pro 20 mg

Tadarise Pro 20 mg is a prescription tablet containing 20 mg of tadalafil, made by Sunrise Remedies, used to treat erectile dysfunction when a lower dose has not been effective. “Pro” is part of the brand name; the active ingredient and dosing rules are the same as for any 20 mg tadalafil tablet. Tadarise Pro is an Indian product, made in India.

What does “Pro” mean?

Manufacturers use labels like “Pro” or “Professional” to set one presentation apart from another, and some such products are designed to dissolve in the mouth rather than be swallowed. Check the carton and leaflet: if they say to place the tablet under the tongue or let it dissolve, follow that; otherwise swallow it whole with water. Whatever the presentation, the dose is still 20 mg of tadalafil, the same limits and warnings apply, and you should not expect a faster or stronger effect.

How does tadalafil work?

Tadalafil blocks PDE5 in the penis, keeping cGMP available for longer after sexual arousal. Blood vessels in the erectile tissue stay relaxed, more blood enters and an erection is easier to maintain. Because tadalafil leaves the body slowly, one dose can help for up to 36 hours, though it only works when you are aroused.

How to take Tadarise Pro 20 mg

  • Take one tablet 30 minutes to 2 hours before sexual activity, with or without food.
  • One dose per 24 hours is the maximum, and 20 mg is the highest labeled on-demand dose; products sold at 40 mg or more go beyond it.
  • Do not start on this strength unless your doctor advises it; most men begin with 10 mg.
  • Do not take it on the same day as any other tadalafil, sildenafil, vardenafil or avanafil product, including jellies and films.

When a lower dose is required

SituationUsual on-demand limit
Moderate kidney impairmentStart at 5 mg; no more than 10 mg once in 48 hours
Severe kidney impairment or dialysis5 mg, no more than once in 72 hours
Mild to moderate liver impairmentNo more than 10 mg a day
Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (for example ketoconazole, ritonavir)No more than 10 mg once in 72 hours

In each of these situations, the 20 mg strength is not appropriate, and tadalafil is not recommended at all in severe liver disease.

Who should not take it?

Never combine tadalafil with nitrates, including nitroglycerin (glyceryl trinitrate) sprays and tablets, isosorbide mononitrate and amyl nitrite “poppers”, or with riociguat, because blood pressure can fall to dangerous levels. It is not advised for men with serious heart disease, a recent stroke or uncontrolled blood pressure. Take care with alpha-blockers and other blood pressure medicines, and keep alcohol light.

What are the side effects?

At 20 mg, headache, indigestion, back pain, muscle aches, flushing and a congested nose are more likely than at lower doses. Get emergency medical help for an erection lasting more than 4 hours, sudden vision loss in one or both eyes, a sudden drop in hearing, or chest pain.
